College App Planner for ADHD

Effective Date: July 28, 2026

Terms of Use for College App Planner for ADHD

Effective Date: July 28, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the College App Planner for ADHD mobile application, website, features, content, messaging services, and related services collectively referred to as the “Services.”

The Services are operated by Rainbow Connector, LLC, doing business as ForwardReady U (“ForwardReady U,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account, purchasing a feature, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Please do not use the Services if you do not agree to these Terms.

1. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use the Services.

If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Services. Parents and guardians who permit a minor to use the Services agree to supervise the minor’s use when appropriate.

Individuals under 13 may not create an account, submit personal information, or use the Services.

2. Purpose of the Services

College App Planner for ADHD is an educational planning and organizational tool designed to help students manage the college application process.

Features may include:
  • College application tasks and checklists
  • College-list organization
  • Deadline and progress tracking
  • Essay, recommendation, and application planning
  • Reminders and structured next steps
  • ADHD-friendly and executive-function supports
  • Parent or guardian progress updates
  • Messaging with college counselors
  • Educational resources and guidance
Features may vary by account type, purchase, subscription, device, location, or app version.

3. Educational Guidance—Not a Guarantee

The Services provide educational information, planning support, and college-counseling guidance. We do not guarantee:
  • Admission to any college or program
  • Eligibility for financial aid or scholarships
  • Completion of an application by a particular deadline
  • The accuracy of information supplied by a college or third party
  • Any particular academic, financial, or admissions outcome
Students and families remain responsible for verifying deadlines, requirements, costs, policies, and submission status directly with colleges, testing organizations, scholarship providers, and other relevant institutions.

The Services do not provide medical diagnosis or treatment, mental-health services, legal advice, financial advice, or emergency assistance.

4. Human College-Counseling Support

Certain plans or purchases may allow users to send questions to a college counselor through the App.
Messages are reviewed and answered by real people rather than automatically generated by a chatbot. However, counselor messaging is not a live-chat, emergency, or 24-hour service. Response times may vary depending on message volume, weekends, holidays, staff availability, and the nature of the question.

The messaging feature should not be used for emergencies, mental-health crises, immediate safety concerns, or time-sensitive situations requiring an immediate response.

Users should contact the appropriate emergency service, school official, healthcare professional, or other qualified professional when immediate assistance is needed.

5. Accounts and Account Security

You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating and maintaining your account.

You are responsible for:
  • Protecting your password and login credentials
  • Activities conducted through your account
  • Keeping your email address current
  • Notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized access
  • Ensuring that information entered into the App is appropriate and accurate
You may not share an account in a way that bypasses applicable purchase or subscription requirements.

We may require users to verify their email address or identity before accessing certain features, changing account information, or processing a privacy request.

6. Student Content

Users may enter or save information such as college lists, deadlines, notes, goals, application progress, essay-planning information, reminders, preferences, and questions.

You retain ownership of the original content you submit to the Services.

By submitting content, you give ForwardReady U a limited, nonexclusive license to store, process, display, and use that content only as reasonably necessary to:
  • Provide the Services
  • Synchronize information across sessions or devices
  • Respond to counseling questions
  • Send authorized progress notifications
  • Maintain security
  • Troubleshoot technical problems
  • Comply with legal obligations
You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not enter Social Security numbers, financial-account passwords, complete payment-card information, medical records, or other information the App does not specifically request.

7. Parent and Guardian Email Updates

Students may have the option to authorize automated progress emails to a parent or guardian.

By adding a parent or guardian’s email address, the user represents that:
  • The address is accurate
  • The recipient is an appropriate person to receive the updates
  • The user is authorized to provide the address
  • The user consents to the selected progress information being shared
Automated updates may report completed tasks, milestones, or other selected activity. They are intended to help families stay informed while supporting student ownership of the application process.
These emails may not include every action, deadline, concern, or change within the student’s account. Parents, guardians, and students remain responsible for communicating directly about important decisions and verifying application requirements.

Users may update or remove a parent or guardian’s email address through the applicable App settings.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:
  • Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
  • Impersonate another person
  • Access another user’s account without authorization
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse counselors, staff members, or other users
  • Submit malicious code, viruses, or automated requests
  • Attempt to bypass security or payment controls
  • Copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the Services
  • Use counselor support to submit spam or repeated abusive messages
  • Upload content that infringes another person’s intellectual-property or privacy rights
  • Use the Services to misrepresent a student’s work or submit content in violation of a school’s or college’s academic-integrity policies
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access when we reasonably believe that these Terms have been violated or that an account presents a security, legal, or safety risk.

9. Purchases and Subscriptions

Some features may be free, while others may require a one-time purchase, subscription, or other payment.

The price, billing period, included features, and applicable trial or promotional terms will be displayed before purchase. Apple requires subscription offerings to clearly communicate what access the purchaser receives.

Purchases through Apple

Purchases made through the App Store are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s payment terms.

We do not receive or store complete payment-card numbers for App Store purchases.

Auto-renewable subscriptions

When an auto-renewable subscription is offered:
  • Payment is charged to the purchaser’s Apple Account
  • The subscription automatically renews unless canceled
  • The renewal price and billing period will be displayed before purchase
  • Paid access may continue until the end of the current billing period after cancellation
  • Access to subscription-only features may end when the subscription expires
Subscriptions purchased through Apple can be managed or canceled through the user’s Apple Account subscription settings. Apple states that App Store subscriptions automatically renew until canceled.
Deleting the App or deleting a ForwardReady U account does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription.

Free trials and promotional periods

Any free trial or introductory offer will be described before enrollment. Unless canceled within the timeframe shown by Apple, a trial may convert to a paid subscription.

Refunds

Refund requests for purchases processed through Apple are governed and administered by Apple. ForwardReady U cannot independently approve or issue a refund for a transaction processed entirely through the App Store.

Restoring purchases

Where applicable, users may restore eligible App Store purchases using the App’s purchase-restoration feature. Apple requires a restore mechanism for restorable in-app purchases.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy:

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual Property

The Services and their original content—including the curriculum, lessons, text, designs, graphics, branding, checklists, organizational systems, and software—are owned by or licensed to ForwardReady U and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, and revocable right to use the Services for your own educational and college-planning purposes.

You may not reproduce, resell, distribute, publicly display, publish, license, or create competing commercial materials from our content without written permission.

“ForwardReady U,” “College App Planner for ADHD,” associated logos, and related branding may not be used without permission.

12. Third-Party Services and Information

The Services may rely on or link to third-party services such as:
  • Apple and the App Store
  • Authentication providers
  • Hosting and database providers
  • Email-delivery services
  • Payment-processing services
  • College and scholarship websites
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, content, policies, or practices of third-party services.

College requirements, deadlines, prices, admissions policies, and program information can change. Users should confirm important information directly with the relevant institution.

13. Availability and Changes to the Services

We work to keep the Services available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

The Services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, internet interruptions, security concerns, or circumstances outside our control.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. When a material change affects a paid feature, we will provide notice when reasonably required.

14. Account Deletion and Termination

Users may initiate account deletion through the App or contact support as described on our Support page.

Deleting an account may permanently remove saved content and progress. Users should save any information they wish to retain before completing deletion.

We may suspend or terminate an account when:
  • The user violates these Terms
  • The account creates a security or legal risk
  • Payment has not been completed
  • The Services are being misused
  • We are required to do so by law
  • Continuing to provide the account is no longer reasonably feasible
Sections that by their nature should continue after termination—including intellectual-property, disclaimer, limitation-of-liability, and dispute provisions—will remain in effect.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not warrant that:
  • The Services will always be available or free from errors
  • Every reminder or notification will be delivered
  • Information will always be complete or current
  • Use of the Services will produce a particular admissions outcome
  • The Services will meet every user’s individual needs
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ForwardReady U and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Services.

This includes losses arising from missed deadlines, incomplete applications, admissions decisions, scholarship decisions, financial-aid outcomes, lost data, service interruptions, reliance on third-party information, or unauthorized account access.

Our total liability for a claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount the user paid to ForwardReady U for the applicable App service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, these limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.

17. Apple-Specific Terms

The App is licensed, not sold.

Unless ForwardReady U provides a separate custom license agreement through App Store Connect, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the App. Apple confirms that its standard EULA applies automatically when a developer does not provide a custom EULA.

These Terms govern the ForwardReady U account, content, counseling support, parent notifications, purchases, and other services associated with the App. If these Terms conflict with Apple’s applicable terms regarding the license or App Store transaction, Apple’s terms will control for those matters.
Apple is not responsible for providing ForwardReady U’s college-counseling, educational, or technical-support services.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where the laws of the user’s jurisdiction require otherwise.

Before filing a legal claim, you and ForwardReady U agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the concern by contacting us.

Unless applicable law requires another location, legal proceedings relating to these Terms will be brought in a court with appropriate jurisdiction in Montgomery County, Maryland.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, our business practices, or legal requirements.

The effective date at the top of the page will show when the Terms were last revised. We may provide additional notice through the App or by email when a material update is made.

Continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

4. How We Share Information

We may disclose information to service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting and data storage providers, database providers, authentication providers, payment processors, customer support providers, and technical maintenance and security providers.

These providers may access information only as reasonably necessary to perform services for us. We require them to use reasonable safeguards and provide privacy protections consistent with this Policy.

We may also disclose information: when required by law, court order, subpoena, or valid governmental request; to investigate fraud, abuse, security threats, or policy violations; to protect the safety, rights, or property of users or others; in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate privacy protections; or with the user's direction or consent.
